Help North East entrepreneur save high street brand WOOLWORTHS.
Dan Kane from Newcastle has set out to save the loved WOOLWORTHS and the thousands of jobs, he can’t do this alone and wants you to help him raise the 375 million pound required to save the failing group.
Entrepreneur Dan Kane said this morning “WOOLWORTHS is a much loved brand in our community and we should stand united in saving the 30,000 jobs this Christmas. I ask the UK to stand alongside me to save the whole WOOLWORTHS PLC Group and not break it up.”

Cheque's will not be cashed unless the group have enough donations to open substantial talks with the administrators Deloitte and all donations would be returned if the pledge was unsuccessful.
The closing date for donations is 10th January 2009.
What will we do with WOOLWORTHS PLC if we take it over?
We intend to work with all of the staff to make Woolies a once again strong brand in the market place. WOOLWORTHS PLC Group has a lot of potential and we would love the opportunity to make it happen without breaking the company into pieces.
